How World Shamans Began

World Shamans was created from a simple belief: when we take the time to heal ourselves, come together in community, and connect with Mother Earth, something within us begins to change. We become more aware of how we walk through life, how we speak to one another, and how we impact the world around us.
The shamanic healers, teachers, and wisdom keepers who share their traditions with us remind us of something that is easy to forget. We are not separate from one another. We are part of the Earth and connected to all living things.
World Shamans brings people together to experience spiritual healing traditions firsthand—to sit in ceremony and learn directly from those who carry this wisdom.
When we come together in community, we remember something important: we are connected, we are part of something greater, and we all belong.

Honoring the Wisdom We’re Entrusted to Share
The traditions shared through World Shamans United come from people and cultures who have carried this wisdom forward for generations. We believe it is important to honor where these teachings come from and the people who continue to carry them today.
Our work is built on genuine relationships, mutual respect, and reciprocity. We believe in learning directly from the shamans, Indigenous teachers, and wisdom keepers who carry these traditions—and creating opportunities for others to learn from them firsthand.
This is about more than sharing ancient traditions. It’s about bringing people together and helping preserve the wisdom that has been passed from generation to generation.
Hello There!
Hi! I’m Naylin Amanda, a Shamanic Healer and Teacher, retreat facilitator, and founder of Shamanic Reiki Academy and World Shamans.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been highly intuitive and sensitive to energy. I would hear, feel, and see things that other people didn’t. As I got older, I became a psychic medium for a paranormal research group in Colorado, where I really began to understand and develop these abilities.
Around that same time, I learned that my family had connections to Old Nordic Shamanism. That’s when my path into shamanism really began to open.
I never really knew where the shamanic path would take me, but it has led me to some pretty incredible shamanic healers and teachers from different parts of the world.
I’ve sat in ceremony, traveled to sacred sites, learned ancient healing practices, studied directly from lineage carriers, and built relationships that have become very dear to me.
Today, I’m a practicing shamanic healer based in Colorado. I also teach and initiate others to become shamanic healers and guide them in building their own Mesa rooted in the Q’ero lineage.
Outside of all of that, I’m married to my husband, Mike, who has been beside me through much of this journey. I’m also a Master Gardener, so during the day you’ll often find me outside tending to my garden—and at night, probably looking up at the stars.
At the heart of it all, I really love bringing people together. There’s something pretty special about watching people from different places and walks of life come together, share, and learn from one another. And that’s really what World Shamans is all about—bringing people together in community to heal, connect, and remember that we all belong.
